4-days hiking tour on Olkhon and in the Tageran Steppe with accommodation in tents
In summer 2010 we would like to offer you one time a week a very special tour which would enable you to see a lot of Baikal nature within four days. We will bring you to the most picturesque places of the lake but we also will give you lots of information about our region. You will become acquainted with history and culture of native Buryat people and Russians in Siberia, you also will visit some ancient rock paintings (dated back to 2000 and 4000 years) and the most important sacred Shamanism places.
Moreover, you will profit from our know-how – we will show you Baikal seal, the only fresh water seal in the world – in its natural environment. There are many of them in the lake but you have to know where and how they could be watched best. We know both! If you took part on our tour and had not seen Baikal seal we will be glad to make you a reimbursement in height of 10% of the tour price! On the tour we will have plenty of time for hiking and swimming. You will spend three nights in a tent (one-person tents also available!). We will cook on fire so that even usual food would taste great!
