Peninsula Swyatoy Nos & Bays Chiwirkuysky and Barguzinsky

Peninsula Swyatoy Nos lays on the Eastern coast in Buryatia and is the only big peninsula on Baikal. It is a mountain ridge covered with dense Taiga which is bound up with mainland by a narrow plain for the most part swampy piece of land. The both bays Chiwirkuysky and Barguzinsky, which lay respective to the North and to the South of this narrow piece of land, are very interesting regions for hikers, fold boating and anglers. There are lots of hot springs in the area, too.
